Did You Know?
- Year 7 pupils have designated pastoral support with a non-teaching Head of Year
- Pupils have a wide range of leadership opportunities including being part of the Pupil Council, the Eco Council, the Charity Committee and becoming Sports Leaders or Mental Health Champions
- All year groups have a varied programme of extra-curricular activities, providing pupils with the opportunity to learn new skills and experience the arts and competitive sports
- Our Varsity competitions provide pupils with the opportunity to compete against other STAR schools in activities such as photography, public speaking, poetry and sport
- The Academy has a new library space for pupils to discover a wide variety of reading material
- The Academy has fantastic sports facilities including an astroturf and trampolining centre
- Every pupil has a ‘Service Log’ to record all of their contributions to the local community
- Our pupils regularly take part in charitable activities contributing to the wider community
